From Fear to Freedom: How One Breakthrough Moment Changed My Life and Can Change Yours Too!

Fear is a powerful emotion that can hold us back from living the life we were meant to live. The fear of rejection is one of the most common fears that people experience. Fear can manifest in many ways, such as the fear of being rejected by others, the fear of failure, the fear of losing out, or the fear of not living up to our own expectations.

But here's the thing: our lack of action is not due to a lack of opportunities or resources. Instead, it is often because we allow our subconscious fears to dictate our decisions and hold us back from taking risks.

Watch this closely, everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear. Imagine a life where you are free to pursue your passions and fulfil your dreams without the burden of fear weighing you down. It's possible, and it's within your reach.

Take a look at the people who are doing the things they love. They didn't get there by sitting on the sidelines, letting fear control their actions. They took risks, stepped out of their comfort zones, and pursued their passions with unwavering determination.

Consider the artist who was told their work wasn't good enough, but continued to create and eventually found success. Or the entrepreneur who failed multiple times before finally hitting it big. Or the athlete who faced rejection after rejection but kept pushing themselves to be better.

These individuals didn't let fear of rejection or failure stop them from pursuing their dreams. They believed in themselves, took action, and persisted until they achieved their goals.

So, what's holding you back? Don't let fear control your life. Take that first step towards your dreams, no matter how small. Believe in yourself, and don't give up. The life you were meant to live is waiting for you on the other side of fear.

It's important to remember that overcoming fear and pursuing our dreams is not always easy. It often requires a great deal of courage and support. This has become my mission.

My mission is to inspire others to live the life they dream of living, and that mission goes above and beyond my art. I am committed to serving this mission with my passion and talent. By using art to inspire others to live their dreams, I can make a positive impact and contribute to a greater good.

I understand the impact that fear can have on our lives, as I too have experienced the debilitating effects of fear and trauma. When I was four, I experienced an event that left me traumatised and a servant of fear for years afterwards.

It had an impact on my education, setting me back years. I couldn't read until I turned nine. I struggled with math and abstract concepts way into my late teens. And because of this, the lie I believed about myself was I was stupid. This trauma also arrested my inter personal relationships, and even my self-worth. It wasn't until I received counselling in my later years that I was able to uncover the root of my fears and begin to heal.

The impact fear can have on our lives can be debilitating. So if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or fearful, know that you're not alone. It's important to seek help and support if you're struggling to overcome your fears and pursue your dreams. It's possible to navigate these challenges and empower ourselves to live the life we were meant to live.

This is my personal story of how I triumphed over my fears and achieved a breakthrough, without fully comprehending the answer (power) was there at the tips of fingers all along.

As a child, my dad tried repeatedly to teach me how to swim, but I was too afraid to try. I felt like I was letting him down. One day, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went to the pool by myself and jumped into the deep end of a crowded outdoor swimming pool. I immediately sank to the bottom. It was truly frightening. I was in the fight of my life. I had to save myself or risk drowning. Somehow, I managed to get to the surface and find my way back to the side of the pool. I bobbed up and down as I clung onto the poolside. I was exhausted but euphoric. I was beaming. Suddenly, I felt invincible and unstoppable.

My story is a perfect example of how facing our fears head-on can lead to breakthrough moments. It's tragic how childhood traumas no matter how small can shape our beliefs and fears, but it's also inspiring to see how we can overcome them.

I didn't realise it at the time but the saving myself moment was to prove to be a single defining event that would help me overcome my deepest fears in my later years. It gave me the courage to face challenges head on and to never back down when things got tough. Whenever I find myself up against a seemingly insurmountable obstacle, I think back to that moment and remind myself that anything is possible if I am willing to try. I am unstoppable, I am invincible, I tell myself. That childhood victory has helped me to overcome much bigger challenges later on in life that I never thought were possible. It is a powerful reminder that fear is just an obstacle that can be overcome with the right mindset and a willingness to take action. Remember these breakthrough moments when we come up against obstacles or challenges. They serve as a reminder that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to, and that fear doesn't have to hold you back.

When I allow fear to dictate my actions, I limit my potential and miss out on the opportunities and experiences that could bring me joy and fulfilment. But when I face my fears and take action, I open myself up to a world of possibilities.

As I mentioned earlier, my mission is to inspire others to live the life they are passionate about living, and my story is a perfect illustration of that mission. When I break through my fears, I can discover the things I truly love and pursue them with passion and purpose.

So if you're feeling held back by fear or doubt, remember that you are capable of achieving great things. Take inspiration from your own breakthrough moments and know that I am here to support and guide you on your journey towards living the life you were meant to live. Let's face our fears together and create a life filled with passion, purpose, and fulfilment.

It wasn't until my later years that I learned to tap into that breakthrough moment. Here I was in my mid-50s. I had gone through a lengthy divorce. Life had ground to a halt. My choice was to stay and fight or end it now. I was desperate to move forward with living so I chose to cut my losses and move on, which meant willingly giving away everything I had worked for. It was not an easy decision as I knew the financial consequences at my stage in life would be a significant setback, but I also knew that if I didn't take the chance, I would remain in this quagmire of fighting over stuff. I took a deep breath, gathered my courage, and jumped in once again.

I was left with two suitcases. I had no job, no home, and no clear plan, but I was determined to make the best of a bad situation. There were certainly moments of fear and doubt, but I never let those feelings hold me back. When you have nothing, you have everything. There is nothing left to loose. I refused to play the victim or throw pity parties, and instead adopted an attitude of doing the best I could, with what I had and where I was at. I persisted, learned from my mistakes, and continued to move forward towards my goals. Now, I'm living the life I always dreamed of, doing work that I'm passionate about and helping others to overcome their own fears and achieve their dreams. It's not always easy, but it's worth it.

Looking back, I realise that my breakthrough moment of learning to save myself in that pool was a powerful life lesson that was waiting for a future opportunity to present itself. It taught me that I am capable of overcoming my fears and achieving great things if I am willing to take action and believe in myself.

Now, my mission is to inspire others to live the life they were meant to live, just like I am doing. I want to encourage others to tap into their own breakthrough moments and use them as a source of inspiration to face their fears and take action towards living their best life.

My motto can be summed up like this. Live to inspire. Inspire to live.
