SHIPPING POLICY

Free shipping within the UK only. This applies to original paintings, prints and merchandise
I go the extra mile, and make sure your painting or print is securely and safely packed for you. Packing is an art in itself, and depending on the size of painting, the process can easily take an hour or more to complete.
I do offer a local delivery service i.e. within 5 miles of the gallery. This service is free for original paintings of any size. It does not apply to prints or merchandise sales under £150. A nominal delivery charge of £5 will be applied for local deliveries under £150. Please give me your 'What 3 Words' location, as there are some extremely remote addresses in the mountains!
PERSONAL DELIVERY and INSTALLATION SERVICE UK
Some of the larger paintings would make shipping via courier very expensive. However, I am willing to deliver these in person, and even install them for you! This service is for the larger works only. This personal delivery service covers mainland UK only - i.e. Wales, Scotland and England. NB This only applies to the larger works.
NORTHERN IRELAND, CHANNEL ISLANDS etc
I can ship small paintings and some medium size paintings in their frames. Other medium to large paintings, however, will be disassembled and removed from the stretcher. The canvas will be rolled carefully and placed inside a sturdy tube. I will insert the disassembled stretcher bars inside the tube together with the painting.
NB This will mean, the canvas will have to be re-stretched on arrival. This will require someone with the skills to do this. This method of shipping will give the painting the best possible protection.
NB Rolled up paintings, will not include any frames.

However, if you are willing to pay the additional costs such as ferry and accommodation, I would consider making a personal delivery to these areas.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International shipping. All non-UK shipping, including original paintings, prints and merchandise is to be paid by the buyer.
Free shipping world wide will be included with orders over £3000. This is applicable to original paintings and/or limited edition prints only.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

This policy applies to original works and limited edition prints only. It does not apply to open edition prints and merchandise e.g. cards, mugs, pillows etc.
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS
I may consider an EXCHANGE of equal value within 7 days of proof of delivery, at my discretion only. This exchange applies to original works only.

Regarding original paintings, I do offer a 7 day cooling-off period for returns. This begins when the item has been recorded as delivered by the shipping company, or the moment it is delivered and/or collected in person. This could be the buyer collecting from my gallery. It could refer to me delivering in-person to the buyer.
To be considered for a refund, please contact me within 7 days when the item was recorded as delivered or collected in person. Proof of delivery/collection re: time and date must be established. Include a copy of the invoice and any shipping related documents in the email. I will refund the purchase price of the artwork, minus any additional costs such as framing, shipping and delivery charges, incurred by me to send to a buyer.
The buyer is entirely responsible for paying for the item to be returned, which they must do in a timely manner. The buyer is responsible for safely securing and packing the item against damage on return. Further costs will be deducted from the refund, if there is any damage to the frame or the item, or both, and/or any further additional costs incurred by me personally, such as reframing due to damage.
What if the item arrives damaged in transit? In the unlikely event of this happening, this will have to be taken up with the shipping company's insurance. All items are shipped with tracking and insurance. If the item is damaged upon delivery to the buyer, I would suggest taking photographs of said damage. Contact the shipping company. Please send me images clearly showing any damage. I will also follow up by contacting the shipping company as well.
I always take pictures of the condition of the items as they leave the gallery, before shipping. I suggest the buyer does the same on return. Ensure each item is secure and well protected from potential damage that may be caused during transit.
As yet, there have been no issues regarding damage in transit. And this includes several successful shipments overseas to the US and Asia. Each item is securely packaged to ensure they arrive in mint condition.
In the event of a return, the buyer must ensure the work is repackaged safely and securely, to prevent damage during the return transit. The returned package must be insured to the correct value and tracking must be selected.
I will need time to assess the costs involved. I will issue a refund of the purchase price, minus any damage, handling fees, and any additional costs within 5 - 7 days, on receipt of return delivery.
LIMITED EDITION PRINTS UK ONLY
Signed limited edition prints can only be exchanged for another signed limited edition print of equal size and/or value at my discretion only. I DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS.
